Great Guana Cay is approximately seven miles long with a spectacular beach on the ocean side that offers wonderful swimming, snorkeling and beachcombing.
There is excellent fishing on the reefs and offshore. Bonefish abound in the shallow bays on the Sea of Abaco side of the cay.
There is a small settlement on the island, with some stores and restaurants. A full-service dive shop runs half and full day snorkel and dive trips from Guana Cay.
Daily ferry service
makes it easy to get here from Marsh Harbour. If you rent or own a boat,
Guana's central location makes it a short ride to Treasure Cay,
Green Turtle Cay, Man-O-War Cay or Elbow Cay.
